ChargePoint joins speakers at EVS Whistler
ChargePoint, the world’s largest EV charging network operator, will feature as a speaker at inspiratia’s Electric Vehicle & Sustainability Summit in Whistler, Canada, on November 19-22.
ChargePoint’s CMO Colleen Jansen joins a speaker line-up that includes fellow charging infrastructure heavyweight Electrify America, MaaS providers Via and Envoy, interoperability platform Hubject, and investor Energize Ventures, to name a few.
Founded in 2007, ChargePoint completed a US$240 million series H funding round at the end of 2018. Led by Quantum Energy Partners (QEP), the diverse group of new investors includes American Electric Power, Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB), Chevron Technology Ventures, Clearvision, Daimler Trucks & Buses and GIC.
ChargePoint operates close to 100,000 charging stations in North America, Europe and Australia, with plans to extend its network to 2.5 million by 2025.
The company has forged numerous roaming partnerships with other major charging infrastructure providers – such as EVgo, EVbox, Greenlots, FLO and Electrify America – over the past few years. The company has also worked with industrial conglomerates such as Chevron, Total and Daimler.
Inspired by the surging growth in the electric vehicle market, EVS Whistler will bring together global market leaders at a single location for four days of discussions and networking in November.
EVS Whistler is delighted to be partnered with WiRE, Women in Renewable Energy, a Toronto-based global non-profit that advances the role and recognition of women in the energy sector.
